AFRICAN PORTS FIGHTING CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES

The forthcoming Club of Ports’ Special Program will be held in the framework of the Homeland & Global Security Forum in Geneva (Switzerland), on October 14 to 16, 2015.
It will notably address :
Organized crime and drug trafficking via African ports have a direct impact
on Political Stability, Peace, Security and Development
Fighting Piracy : preventing and suppressing acts of Piracy
and armed robbery against ships
Strengthening border cooperation to fight trafficking through
seaports, dry ports and flyways
Building port capacities in controlling and fighting all sorts
of trafficking and abusive use of reception and transit facilities
Providing Ports with the means of combating transits
related to terrorism and human trafficking
Being a multi-dimensional platform, this Summit will bring together as every year in Geneva, Heads of State and Government, Ministers, International Organisations, Parliaments, Justice & Police Administrations, Intelligence Agencies and Businesses addressing the key Global Security challenges of our World.
